I'd recommend the 60mm over the 100mm. The working distance is shorter and you get a slightly wider angle of view (negligible). Additionally, it's smaller, lighter, and less expensive but at least as good optically, some say better.

The only reason I'd suggest going with the 100mm is if you think that positioning the camera/lens at the MFD (minimum focusing distance) would block light from your subject.

Additionally, I wanted to add that you may want to look into focus stacking, the techniques, and software.
