Re: wonderful - and a nice coincidence

Great photos, nicely seen and very well developed.

By coincidence I've just ordered an OM-D with kit lens, the 40-150 R, and the Panny 20 1.7...seeing these images (albeit beyond my artistic and technical level) has not only inspired me, but is helping me through that post-purchase moment when the money leaves the account and you can't help thinking 'I hope it's worth it!'

Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment and kind words, pictureAngst! Take it from me, you won't be disappointed with your purchase. I have the 20mm also, and it's wonderful for portraits. The 12-50 and 40-150 are tack sharp corner to corner if you stop it down 1 stop or so. That's usually not a problem for me, as I mainly do landscapes. For animals, as you saw in these images, it's great too, as corner sharpness if not critical. However, the corner sharpness is still pretty dang good even wide open on the 40-150...at least it is on my copy.

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
