Yes, I see what you are talking about.

To replicate the look of your original image, check if 'Camera calibration' in Lightroom is set to 'embedded' and not 'Adobe standard'. Check the saturation and, especially, the contrast presets in the software (Tone curve should be set to 'linear'). The processed jpg image is oversaturated and contrast is also too high. That is way the colors are clipped.

If you have the RAW file, Lightroom can do a nice job with Pentax as long as you don't use Adobe standard profile.

I found that the 'Neutral' setting on the camera gives a very good starting point for post processing.
