Now I might not be able to eat or pay bills but it still is a profit.

In other words you have made only $1 for all the time and effort expended.

You would have made more money working at McDonalds for an hour.

Not having photography as my single revenue stream makes this okay for me and
the experience is great

For a hobbyist, who would have spent the money anyway, you may be ahead. As a professional, you are not bringing in enough revenue to make this your profession.

And this is all I was trying to say. Was not trying to step on anyone's toes or be a troll
