I agree with the posters who are in favor of gps on a camera. Its use is
optional, so you don't have to use it. When you do use it you then
have useful location information for yourself and others, and won't have
to rely on your memory which may play tricks on you. I have lots of
old black and white snapshots taken by my now deceased parents
which may have a date on them, but seldom a location, and that's
something to consider if you're planning to leave any of your treasured
memories behind. Since we have the ability to instantly record both
the when, and the where of our pictures why not use it?
