RX100 - real life samples
Ok, had our first proper sunny day today (except for a bizarre 1/2 hour where the mist rolled in!). These pics are provided as an example of the RX100 in everyday (shoot without much thought) use.
There are two things I've been most impressed with: the shutter lag and AF - it's so easy to point and click without even pre-focussing and your hit/miss ratio is really good. The shutter lag - or lack of - means you can grab really opportune moments without using AF-C. Secondly the screen - I've never honestly come across an LCD screen that is so visible in direct bright sunshine. I see no need whatsoever for a screen shade.
Anyway, enough rambling. I'm not posting these as examples of superb picture clarity or otherwise - just man-in-the-street examples. All JPEGs ooc, slight exposure correction on some in LR then exported with screen sharpening enabled.
