Well since the thread has been awakened and since I missed it the first time around, I just spent most of the morning reading all the conflicting opinions. Very interesting.

Seems basically to be an issue of anthropology, a moral issue if you will, between those who believe if someone created something they deserve to be paid for their work regardless of the means of delvery, and those who believe that everyone does it so its okay to take digital property and besides it didnt cost the guy anything to make the copy.


My question then is, since it doesnt cost anyone anything to make copies of digital photos then why does everyone posting photos here and on other websites bother putting copyrights on them, if it doesnt cost you anything for someone to make a copy?

just sayin'.
