5d2 LCD stuck pixel resale effect
I haven't used my 5d2 in a whle but have a shoot coming up tomorrow that I'm going to use it for.
When I was checking the camera out yesterday I noticed a stuck pixel on the LCD near the uper left rule of thirds intersection point.
What I'm wondering is, whether I should get the LCD replaced now or not.
I'm not happy with what is in the 5d3 so I'm going to wait a couple of years and hope there is a 5d2 replacement with higher DR, maybe more pixels.
One thought is that if I wait 2 years to get the LCD replaced then if there are more problems with the LCD they might show up.
Or in 2 years the value of the camera won't be enough to make the LCD worth replacing then.
Or maybe in 2 years a replacement LCD won't be easy to get.
So what do you all think would be the best course of action or inaction?
(The good thing is that it's not a stuck pixel on the sensor)
