You used 2.8 aperture on all of the pictures. Would have figured the other end (22) would have been better to get more DOF. Did you use 2.8 to get more light in, so you could reduce the shutter time? Not being critical, just ignorant & curious.

Both reasons i guess. @16mm, a 30sec exposure should result in barely noticeable star trails, so it was one of the reasons i chose 2.8. Also, i didn't want to bring the ISO too much high, so i could get a nice compromise regarding noise.
