D800 in Iceland

I recently had the opportunity to go on assignment in Iceland and decided to take my D800 as the main camera. I normally use a D3s, but since the images would be used commercially by the travel industry, I wanted as much resolution as I could get.

The D800 performed really well and I was fortunate enough that I did not encounter the left AF point focus issue (although, my D800 didn't like my slower CF cards). With good glass and meticulous shooting technique (plus good PP skills), you can get some amazing files out of the D800.
