Yeah, hail is a given in the Spring, just not always hail of that size! Every car parked in the lot at my apartment when the storms blew through was smashed. Fortunately, I stopped in Highland Park to do some wildflower shooting, heard about the storm on the radio, drove west and went around the hail pocket.

I need to make an evening trip myself, but later in the Fall when the sun goes down earlier and there's more time to see it all under the lights.
