Just taken delivery of my RX100 and it seems to be strugglling to focus close up. I have tried all methods of focusing and it just fails to find subjects on even contrasty images. Bit late to test it as it is dark here now (in the UK), will try again tomorrow, but has anyone else had this problem?
And the manual focus seems very clumsy. Nothing seems to happen much. I find I'm turning the control dial round and round to fine tune it - nothing like the 'feeling' of focusing a conventional lens, which I though it might emulate. Is there any way of changing the degree of movement for focusing with the control ring, so that smaller movements change the focus quicker? If not, there should be.
Shame to not be 100% happy as a few pics I've taken have been very pleasing.
