Obviously, if it's the difference between getting the shot or not, iso should be cranked up to whatever is required, even if it means a slight loss in feather detail (after processing). I merely wished to point out that many bird shooters are wary about shooting at high isos, due to the inherent loss of detail.

BTW, the shot was cropped about 40%
