Maybe I should buy the store's warranty LOL. I never do but for this cam, which I plan on keeping for several years, maybe its worth it instead of dealing with Olympus for issues. I have 30 days.

so I was looking for a body only . I would have got a second back up body eventually so I had just to go ahead that this huge issue with a brand new camera is not a sign of the camera reliability .

All I could find was a kind so I got the kit at the regular price (1,299) and was able to sell back to the dealer for $250 so I was only paying a premium of $50
this is what I did . Now hopefully the first body can be repaired quickly
