Re: Opinions on uniform

Ties on proper fitting shirts ARE NOT A BOTHER! You must look the part. Weddings for the most part are traditional events. Even low buck ones have people almost always dressing appropriately. If the photographer does not half decent match the occasion in attire he/she will be looked upon as lesser and with less real respect and care by the wedding party and even guests. THAT'S THE WAY IT IS!

Society is based upon ritual and dressing is big part of it. Lawyers wear expensive suits or for females outfits to impress and command more respect, not to do their jobs better. Judges most often still wear formal robes for the look and the respect such commands. Doctors still usually wear white lab coats to carry on the look and to get the respect. Like it or not human society makes initial judgements on how we dress and carry ourselves and women do this more so then men. BRIDES ARE WOMEN LETS NOT FORGET!

It is no more uncomfortable to wear a properly fitted, pressed shirt, tie and pants than it is to throw on a polo/golf type shirt (cheezy ones or not) and some wrinkly pants or such.

Any person who claims to be uncomfortable in more professional and better looking attire including for men ties are most likely wearing clothes that are cheap in make/cut and more so too small or otherwise ill-fitting.
