Continuing Chris' train of thought: The 80% of this photo is a nice composition of the line of revelers plus the boy that is a little cut off at the top. At the bottom is the unsettling black space and the female onlooker, also cut off at the bottom, which leads to a big question mark.

Here the composite scheme as I see, so girl at the bottom and boy looking on it plays an important role

Here the surprising thing at the bottom is the woman's hand, which WA perspective makes seem almost as large as the girl's face.

Sorry,but for me perspective plans look naturally enough here.
