Sony/Minolta colors better than Canon

I switched from Sony to Canon a few months ago. I sold all my gear except I have not sold my A700 yet. My Canon gear consist of 5D MKII, 70-200 f4 IS and the 24-105 f4 IS and the 100mm L macro IS. Over the weekend I went to an estate sale and picked up a 80-200 f2.8 black model, 50mm f2.8 macro and the 35-105 for a good price with the intention of re-selling at a profit. I decided to test the Canon 70-200 and Minolta 80-200 for sharpness but was very surprised the Minolta in my opinion produced much nicer colors and more true to the subject. Let's see what everyone here has to say, but please don't just bash the Canon because you are on the Sony forum. I will probably post this the Canon forum as well.
Both pictures are raw no pp.
