I had a similar problem, but it wasn't a pixel. It was dust between the sensor and the coverglass for the sensor.

Fuji in Norway replaced my camera with a new one, two months after my initial purchase, because they did not have equipment to change the sensor on the camera locally here so it would have taken 1-2 months to get it fixed, and I did not accept that when the problem was there from day 1 of my purchase (although I did not "see it" until later when I went back to my first images and inspected them I could see it) - that I should have to be 1-2 months without the camera.
