Is OM-d autofocus accurate?

I've been taking a few dozen photos of flowers from about 30 feet away, using both the Olympus OM-d with 12-50mm, and the Canon G1X. Time and again, the Canon focuses very well, whereas the Oly seems to be a little more hit and miss. These are all handheld shots, using Aperture priority, auto ISO, and image stabilization on.

I didn't notice this difference when I was taking pictures from closer range (2 to 6 feet). But I do notice it at the 20-30 feet range. Anyone else notice this, or is it just an anomally with my OM-d sample?
