Not familiar with the d800. So you are saying can't get everything set, put the mirror up then hit the interval timer?

I am not certain if you can bracket HDR shots with the interval timer. It could be possible, but you are dealing with playing with menus. I think it would be easier to do it manually with mirror up and shutter delay.

About 2 months ago I purchased a RFN-4s wireless remote for my D800 even though I have the MC-36 and it is awesome.


There are cheaper remotes and I do not know how a remote is a hassle. I use them quite often.
