I plan to leave my 5 year old FZ Pana in favor of a DSLR. I would also add a prime lens and a Tele lens.
I take nature shots, outdoor scene & some portrait
I wish to improve on my current image quality and also play with post imaging software.
Which would be the best choice....limited budget a consideration....Sony or Nikon????
Since a "limited budget [is] a consideration", may I suggest considering the Sony A57 in with your other considerations. It's $200 cheaper than the A65.
If you want a better kit lens option and if you can wait about a month you could get the A57 with the 18-135 it's only $80 more ($998 @ bhphoto) than the basic A65 kit ($918).
