Canon 16-35L vs 17-40, and 70-300L

First off I already own a 17-40L lens. Would I benefit in any way by getting the 16-35L, meaning is the new lens any better then the one I already own? Low light is nice, but not a deal maker for me. Im more concerned about sharpness, bokeh, etc. And this would be on both full frame and crop sensors. And by the 16-35- I mean the new version 2 lens.

Secondly- any comments on the 70-300L lens? I just sold a 100-300 5.6L lens and I would expect the new Canon to beat it in every way, but like to hear others comments on the newer lens. Again both crop and full frame sensors.
