NX, Battery and WiFi

Just thought I'd give you a heads up. Even though the NX20s battery is rated higher then that of the iPod Touch, if you have WiFi on for any length of time.. you may lose a lot of battery power very fast.

I was out this past weekend, took 200 shots... over a 20 minute period I tried a few with the Remote Camera App, Group shots and the like, and transferred them to my iPod touch with the other App. This seems to have killed enough battery power that I got only 200 shots from a fully charged battery.

Same Battery on the NX11 could get 350 easy shooting on the same basic settings. I didn't even fill an 8 GB card shooting in RAW.

So just a FYI to everyone to be careful if you want to try to use it. That may be 1/3+ of a battery in 20 minutes.

I'll have to put it to another test with no WiFi usage at all to be sure, but if you have just one battery, and you going to be out all day... do not use WiFi.

It would be helpful if anyone could help verify this just so we know what to watch for.

Thankfully this is not a every day feature, and is so inconsistent in it's focus that it is only slightly more useful then a bike with no seat.
