I would avoid the 50/2.8 - beware of the blue dot

I personally would avoid the 50/2.8 macro original and the RS version (not sure about the D version) due to the possibility for sensor reflection. At certain distances from a subject, usually between 12" to 18", you will sometimes see a blue dot in your images due to sensor reflection (google it).

Hello all,

I am interested in the 50mm macro

What would be the best option/version:
Minolta - AF 50 F3.5 Macro
Minolta - AF 50 F2.8 Macro
Minolta - AF 50 F2.8 Macro RS
Minolta - AF 50 F2.8 Macro D

On Dyxum notations... They seem very similar...

Is there any version to avoid?

PS. Actually I have the 50mm/1.7

Many thanks in advance for you suuport
