My 5D MKII is sick - what's wrong?

Hi there,

lately I've experienced an unpleasent phenomonen with my one-year-old 5D MK II.
Out of nowhere the picture comes out all white except for some horizontal lines.

I've tried changing CF-cards, turned the camera on and off, selected all Auto-program and of course made sure, that I hadn't chosen some bizarre shutter/aperture setting.

The damned thing is, that the problem comes and goes. One day it's there – the next day it's gone.

Please look at the attached pictures. The bright one is the original JPEG (made from the RAW-file) and the other is enhanced in Photoshop to emphasize the issue.

Any suggestions? Sick CCD, perhaps?

Looking forward to your input.

Kind regards,
