Hi everyone! Yesterday, I compared a Tamrom 70-300 that I rented from lensrentals.com and another copy of the same lens that I borrowed from a friend (to determine whether to rent this specific lens). I shot in aperture mode. The rental lens consistently exposed with a faster shutter speed, resulting in underexposed pictures (not only relative to the other copy, but also generally more underexposed than I wanted). Is there a reason why this is happening? Is it because of the lens or the body? I'm heading on my trip tomorrow and don't want to have to deal with a funky copy!

Without seeing examples posted WITH EXIF data attached, there is simply not enough info here to rule out user error, or variation in other settings. If you post examples with EXIF intact, you will get a much more concrete answer, versus a bunch of guesses.
