Am I the only one who doesn't like the OMD grip?

Re: Am I the only one who doesn't like the OMD grip?

I love the grip (in particular the landscape piece). It doesn't significantly affect the depth of the camera, and it is only a little taller with the landscape portion on. If you primarily use the camera with a pancake prime then there isn't much need for a grip, but even with the 12-50 kit lens it started to feel unbalanced for me. I also enjoy taking pictures of birds with the panny 100-300mm lens and the grip is pretty much a necessity. With the grip it is very comfortable to hold, and I can hold and fire the camera comfortably with one hand (ok not at 300mm, but with one of my primes).

I'm not as attached to the portrait piece of the grip. If I'm going to be shooting a lot of verticals then it comes in handy, but I don't leave it permanently on my camera like the lanscape portion. I find that when holding the camera in landscape orientation with it on is less comfortable than with it off.
