Canon 7D and 100-400 calibration images

There might be some interest in my calibration results.
I set up the camera at 20m from the target, on a tripod and leveled the camera.
Mirror lockup and timer. The target was on a fence post.

I did the test in increments of 4 just to give me a rough idea, with a Live View control image. The camera has just come back from Canon UK, for calibration and stuff, with the lens. I made the lens refocus after each picture.

Which calibration number should I use?

Now it has to be said that this set of results is not unigue, it is repeatable.

I usually use +6 to +8, but have trouble with consistency. It is generally very good in good light
