Even a JPEG from the original DP2 runs circles around an LX5 IMHO, but yes, RAW is significantly more detailed, so I would suggest to shoot RAW and batch process them on default settings: Sigma Photo Pro will honor the contrast/saturation/sharpness settings from the camera, so you can pretend to shoot JPEG
