Yes it can. The nearest equivalent lens, the 200/2 is within 1/3 stop which is near enough for me.

the NASA has equipment nobody of us has access to - it's all about the right selection of tools . horses for courses

FF enables to do the same thing as the 300 f/2.8 can do as a 7D plus 200 f/1.8 - the only problem is not every lens has it's equivalent and the FF lenses are much wider spread.

I do not comment your images _ I commented on the technology - you are mixing things - but you might be still a young guy and that would explain a lot - if not - well . . .
