No, not just exposure, there are also differences in the angle of light falling on the face of the child, for example. The choice of these exact comparison shots seems somewhat chalk and cheese. Exposure can be easily compensated, lighting is harder to fudge. So it is generally a good idea to get almost identical lighting conditions when comparing cameras. At least, that's what I try to do

Ok, when I have time I will do some shots with both systems and post the results SOOC. But I think it would not be unreasonable to expect that a $2,000 system produces at least slightly better IQ than the one for $400.
