Since these are daytime images with plenty of light, shooting them at ISO 800 or slightly more will not show any IQ penalty. 1/250 will sometimes freeze motion and sometimes not, as you found out.

In twilight, you might use Auto ISO to keep your shutter speed high, but in normal situations with consistently good light, ISO 800-1250 will give you more keepers. That's assuming you want everything totally tack sharp, as there is a popular style of concert photos that emphasize the movement of performers.

By the way, the first image looks great.
