a57 vs a55 vs 5N

I'm currently using an NEX-5N, but I'm growing wearing of it's sluggish autofocus when using my Sigma primes and my 50mm. I know it won't be long before a faster focusing body comes out, but I've been thinking about switching to the a57 for the summer and selling off my NEX primes for the 16-50mm.

I'm experienced with the a55 (had it, but not anymore) and the a580. My question is, how much better is the a57 than the a55 and in what ways? Also, if you are a current or former 5N user, how do you compare the a57 to the 5N?

I know right off the bat, there are a57 advantages, such as EVF, phase detect AF, and in body IS. I also think I might be happer with just the one nice zoom than using three primes. And, I'm guessing that the a57 doesn't overheat as fast as the 5N does.
