Same experience on D7000 and Sigma 17-70

On my D7000, Sigma 17-70 backfocused using lateral AF points when central point was OK. Using other lenses I could not replicate the problem, so I didn't worried about it and kept using my camera as usual, without sending camera nor lens to be repaired (the Sigma lens worked without that problem on my D300).

I usually have been kind of "soft" regarding AF issues. I understand people that wants the AF system to work accurately on all circumstances, and I'm not going to discuss that you have all the reason here, but I simply assume that in some situations or conditions there might be some kind of desviation. Well, I'll try to know my gear and adapt my procedures as far as it doesn't get a very big issue.
