Re: NX20 Freezing (not the lock up issue)
Have you done a reset in the menu? Even after a firmware update it might be worth while doing one to clear any rubbish in memory. To be very cautious a reset before and after firmware update would not do any harm and make sure the environment is as clean as possible for the update. You never know what mischief some odd combinations of old parameters not cleared properly and new firmware routines may get up to and what rubbish the firmware update leaves in memory. Ideally it should not matter but.....

Hi this is my first message here, honestly I avoid this place because well... I've read poor info about many things. However it is one of the few places I can ask this question, and it's one that you folks are usually very good for (as the trolls will stay away)
I recently upgraded to the NX20 from the NX11 (as an aside I told the sales rep the buffer and write times were a concern and I'd be happy to switch systems to a DSLR and he looked at me straight faced and said, you don't need a DLSR this is an excellent camera)
Took it home and started testing it out, getting used to it, going through the settings, playing with video.. getting really annoyed with the slow buffer and write times that I was just told are nothing to worry about... (but the firmware update has made workable.)
However in the last 36 hours the camera has frozen (requiring the battery to be removed) over 12 times. I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem? I've already went in to say.. hey... and a new one is being ordered. I'm just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue, to see if it's common.
As an aside, I'm using a Transcend class 10 Card, which worked will on the NX11, would going to a different card improve performance any (like an extra shot or two before the processing lock up)
