Recent E-M5 data-gathering & DR extrapolation:

Detail Man's calculations lead to rough estimates of around 11.2EV for DXO Screen DR at ISO200.

In case you want to know why that estimate of 11.2 differs from mine, the reasons are spelled out here:

AndersW's rough estimate is 11.7EV for DXO Screen DR at ISO200.

Will be interesting to see what DXO says, if they ever get around to it

Yes it will. But thanks to your help, we now have some reasonably reliable and DxO-comparable estimates to go by in the meantime, not only for base-ISO DR but for DR across the entire ISO range. Base-ISO DR is of interest primarily because it gives us a good idea of how much the shadows can be pushed in PP (or via in-camera tone-curve adjustments) in order to render scenes with high dynamic range in an appropriate fashion. DR at higher ISOs is of interest because it gives us a good idea of how bad the shadow noise will be without any pushing.

Those interested in how the E-M5 compares to the GH2 and the G3/GX1 might want to have a look at the following post in addition to the one already linked above:
