I am disappointed that Nikon chose to put an SD slot instead of an XQD in the D800. With the large RAW files that the D800 generates, it could definitely benefit from the faster write speeds of XQD than SD.

It also would have generated a lot more XQD card sales and thus helped push Sandisk and Lexar to support the format.

Now with my D4 and D800 I have a total of 3 different card formats, which is at least one too many and really 2 too many.
