Over the last (Southern Hemisphere) summer I spent probably 100+ days on track in the Tasmanian mountains as a hiking guide. For almost all of this I was shooting solely with the GH2 and CV Nokton 25mm

It is exceptional.

The combination of micro-detail stopped down (f2.8-8) and close-focusing ability (it's not a macro but 15cm min-focusing is very handy), and colour rendering make it hugely versatile. My only issue is softness/smearing in the extreme corners, which is visible at any aperture.

Check out my flickr set - there's a heap of landscape work in there. Most of it would have been shot with a B+W CPL filter.
