I realized I was using non-standard terminology for the focusing system. Here's the correction:

CDAF - contrast-detect autofocus, found in mirrrorless cameras and DLSRs in liveview mode. Accurate, but generally slow.

PDAF - phase-detect autofocus, found in DSLRs. Fast, but may be inaccurate due to manufacturing tolerances. Focus inaccuracies can be reduced by shop repair or by user if camera has a "focus adjust" feature.
