D700 pinkish blotches everywhere!

maybe it does happen in other cases, but as you can see above, it's actually a WB and Profile thing.

The first image is base ISO 200 and wasn't underexposed at all, actually it was ETTR, there's hardly any noise.

the other too, i also thought it was moire as you suspected, but when fixed it with the WB i realized it wasn't

In the second image crop, there's some kind of color moire going on to create that crescent shape. Were you using a filter in the second example?
