Re: Would you still buy a D90 today?

If something happened to my D90 and I had to upgrade today, I might very well get another one. It suits my needs well. It has its limitations (base iso is only 200 and has more noise than the latest bodies), but I operate within them. As I improve my use of the camera and enhance my ability to fine tune the images in pp, I find that the quality consistently outpaces my expectations.

I also have the Sigma 17-70 os and thoroughly enjoy using it as my everyday lens: landscapes, portraits, flower closeups, etc. I don't think of it as an action lens. I like a telezoom for that (Tamron 70-300 vc, in my case) but it is fast enough focusing for closer action shots. I am strongly considering the Sigma 10-20, but, up until now, I am satisfied with the midrange for my landscapes.
