Angle of bright light may affect what you see in OVF - X pro1

This afternoon, I whipped out the Xpro1 to take pictures of my daughter at tennis camp. To my puzzlement all the items in the OVF sometimes disappeared. No framing box or focus boxes. It took me a few seconds to realize that depending on how the bright light is hitting the back of the camera, sometimes when you bring your face to the eye piece, sun light is still hitting the eye/light sensor. The system doesn't think your eye is up to the camera and to turn on the frame lines. If I covered the sensor with a finger, then all the frames were back in the OVF. Just FYI for others. (I tried to find other posts on this topic and could not but I apologize in advance if I missed them and if this subject has been discussed before)
