I want to get a normal MF prime - considering the three I mentioned in the title. I actually rented all three and am playing with them now.

Most reviews on the web say the 50/2 is the best, mainly for the flat field. However, people also say it has the best contrast and color, but I haven't been able to find any clear examples of that, or see it in the sample shots I'm taking.

Does anyone have, or know where to find, any good comparison shots/reviews of these lenses? Diglloyd has a comparison of the 50/2 and the 50/1.4, but it mainly talks about field curvature, not contrast or colors.

I'd mainly be using them at 2.8 and above so the issues at 1.4 won't affect me. If the 50/2 is really the best, I'll get it, but it's also quite a bit larger/heavier (and more expensive) than the others. Just trying to see if it's justifiably better.

Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend you see the group shot of each lens in flickr, that's how I decide
Here's F2 : http://www.flickr.com/groups/1421214@N23/
