The Zeiss 35mm F2 is a phenomenal lens, it is tack sharp from f2.8 onward. F2 is slightly soft and should serve you well for portraits. It is not an asphercal and the bokeh should be nicer for that. I have no experience with the Leica. The Voigtlander has a good reputation but when I shot some landscape scenes against the Zeiss it was packed up and returned to the store. The Voightlander lacks the sharpness of the Zeiss, especially in the corners, in addition there is a lack of contrast and the pictures had a blahness that was boring. For portraits the Voightlander may be preferred, unsharp and less contrast is not always a bad thing when photographing people so that may need to be considered.
