You wouldn't have to calibrate until you find something wrong with the pictures you shoot. But you can go ahead and disable Auto ISO and set it to a lower speed so that the pictures aren't noisy. Preset your white balance for better color reproduction. You can also try calculating the DOF and recompose focus.
