I'd suggest stopping down the lens to at least f/8 to increase your depth of field and in the case of the 75-300 reduce the occurrence of "purple fringing" in some of your shots.

I had set ev to -0.33 to bring down the CA but wondering if anything else would help. Bringing the aperture to f/8 will improve the DOF. This lens starts to produce chromatic aberration at 135mm from what I read in reviews. All I can think of is some PP ? Any other improvements especially regarding AF are welcome.
