Is it bad AF or improper SR use? Hmmm...

One thing I have learned since switching over 100% to Pentax for my pro work is that I'm starting to think the AF gets a bad rap by people not implementing the SR properly.

I shot a wedding a few weeks ago, and I'll say this, I now ONLY turn ON the SR when I NEED IT. I had a few blurry shots due to pulling the trigger BEFORE the SR had settled. (And hey, I've got 30 years experience shooting weddings, it's not like I'm trying to learn how to do it! )

So for me personally, SR is an OPTIONAL setting, not a DEFAULT setting, chosen specifically for shots that need it, not on all the time. Lesson learned.
