Already have Nikon glass - though that is owned by work and shared and thus not always available to use, certainly not for vaccations etc. So, when I use the camera eventually for my own use I would have to have buy glass.

As for 'trying' one I did try one sometime ago though only for a limited period and could not get a real feel for it. It did seem to be more responsive than my old X100 but I could not fire off any shots etc. Also, now most shops round here don't hold demo units of these cameras and certainly don't like you 'testing' them out before buying. If it was a Nikon d3200 or a Canon 1100d then it would be no problem.

The Nikon D7000 seems to be a very capable camera, but it would appear the X-Pro seems to pip it at detail capture which for some of my photography could be very useul. Now, of course I'd love a Leica Monochrome, but can't really justify the cost personnaly.
