Additional info...... If you are right on top of the area to be shot and you have a strong light in the centre it won't fire BUT if you move the camera to put the light in either the Left or Right of the shot it will then fire.

In other words from a small distance it looks for the light in the centre but the closer you are to the light source it then needs that light to be moved further away from the centre.
