Re: a77 + tamron 70-200 or sigma 70-200

I have owned the Tammy 70-200, the sigma 70-200 apo (no hsm) and the new sigma with os. The iq wise all are good. The Tammy is a complete dog however in the focus department, and I mean a total pos compared to either sigma. In the end I stuck with my original apo because I found it to be the fastest and most accurate focusing of the lot.

I mean this in all honesty, I wouldn't buy the Tammy if was $400, it's that bad at focusing, and this was over trying 3 different copies.
